Currently looking for a 993 Ducktail and came across the following which offers an Aluminium Frame with Fibreglass Cover. Expensive but looks a quality part. Has anyone tried one?

Where did you unplug it? You have to unplug the controller which is located under the dash in the passengers footwell. Once unplugged there, that should solve your issue.

Bringing back the dead thread!
going to drop off the ducktail tomorrow (Getty design), is there anything I should mention? Of course hes going to test fit and sand down the areas if needed.
1. center of the grille low spot?
2. Remove one hydraulic strut?
3. all the under the factory parts do transfer over?
4. Unplug the spoiler module under passenger seat?
anything else?
going to drop off the ducktail tomorrow (Getty design), is there anything I should mention? Of course hes going to test fit and sand down the areas if needed.

I have been inspired. I ordered a stock decklid today to be shipped out to Gary Stratton in Orlando to have him put a ducktail on it with an integrated third brake light.
