I ordered a ducktail from Gary Stratton, and it is ready to be shipped.

It took him less than a week to do it, once he got the donor lid.

I am really looking forward to start the Mods. Also got RS front splitters from GT3tek, and will work on ordering decals from Acromann now.

Mine is being painted as we speak together with Turbo S scoops/fogs. BTW, the black T bolts (6 required) are quite difficult to source. Performance products had them in stock fortunately. Should be duckie by end of next week. Thanks FD for the " Carrera 3.6" decal which will be the tail of the duck.

The black T bolts that you're referring to are the rubber "Hood Stopper Bumper", or the screws to attach the new lid? Do you have a pic by any chance?

Whats that about? Still looking for the right decal. My MShaw DuckT is due for installation tomorrow but i still cant decide on the decal :P

The "T" bolts I am referring to attach the Carrera black plastic grille to the new duck. Call/look at Darin's 993 for his Polar 993 duck with custom decal--I Know he can hook you up. Pix ASAP when installed. Quite excited.

Last I heard, Darin had some "Carrera 3.6" stickers that you can use on duck tails, but only in black. You should PM him to be sure (FisterD). I am getting a duck installed on my ride, but he didn't have the decals in red, so I am going sans decal, which is fine by me.

For those of you that have a full fiberglass engine lid/duck tail combo; how did you install the "rubber buffers" as shown in the picture below? I see some indentions on the new engine lid, perhaps they need drilled and cut?

Anybody have a picture or advice? Thanks!

I think they are referring to a sticker like this, but with a 3.6.

Got my decal from Acromann when I ordered the script for the side. Many colors available IIRC. This one is 9".

Nice! So is the total length of the decal 9" or just the "Carrera" logo?

So I am thinking about going this route, see picture below. I have a OE Carrera badge, and will find 3,6 to go with it.
