God I love wheels.

I just put another set on my modified 951 - one of 3 sets I own for this car (including the ruf's shown)

Jim - you are a first class rebuilder, though these are original wheels & never installed & still have the factory finish and proper etching. Hey - have you rebuilt the RH's I sold you yet?

I spoke with my friend today & it looks like the Speedlines could be ready in a few weeks... He's going to give me a firm answer this week.

So far there is ONE set still available.

Yes, the RH set is done. I made them into 8.5 fronts and 11 rears. They were built to fit a widebody 911 conversion 965 -- Jim

Hey Jim. Love the RH wheels. What colour are those centres and are they semi gloss or gloss finish? What colour are the factory speedline RS rim centres and are they gloss or semi-gloss?

Thanks - Macca

I love the Speedlines and have considered getting some for my C2S in Arctic Silver. What do you guys think of Speelines with Arctic?.

I'm in the UK too,

Enjoy the pictures.
Those are gorgeous!

Might they be going somewhere that the water goes down the drain in a different direction?

Moffman,

If I ever get out the other side of this divorce - AND I get to keep A (yes only 1) car in the process then I might get a set made... in 10's and 12's - and custom offsets and with gunmetal centres....

so stop hassling me!!

Simon.

All,
Back on track....

We found out today that it will not be possible to have the wheels shipped directly within Europe - all the wheels will come to the USA at the same time. This makes it much less of a great deal for those who have expressed interest in the UK & Sweden (very sorry guys) due to additional shipping and customs costs.

I am awaiting confirmation from one lister - if he doesn't reply to my PM by the end of the week, there will be one set available. This could also be less of a delay than expected & we were told today that it might happen next week....

Everyone please understand that these will have the correct factory finish, where the lip has a slightly dull finish and the bolt heads are also clear coated - NOT a full polish look like the refinished ones posted above by Jim Dorociack (beautiful, but not correct). They will also come without center caps OR valve stems - I already had the caps shown in the pictures & I'm sure you will all order the RS caps that are available through dealers such as Sunset for around $75 for the set. Metal valve stems are $5-10...

Here are some more pictures of my set taken this evening - note that I took a picture of each wheel, then all 4 with flash & without:

WITHOUT FLASH:

WITH FLASH:

Thanks again - looking forward to making a few fellow listers happy with this rare opportunity.
