Yeah, I guess the factory list would be correct! I was just curious!

Definitely magnesium centres on the 993 GT2. I was at a track day when a friend cracked one!

Probably not something that would have happened so easily with an RS aluminium centre.

Link to one being sold here; http://www.hexagonclassics.com/car_s...9-GT2/7332.htm

Complete with "Radiographic Inspection Report for the Original Speedline Wheels", not something you tend to find with aluminium wheels!

Not necessarily

I believe Jean over what I posted, there are all sorts of typos in factory literature

The aluminum Speedlines will crack w/ time and use too, as will Fuchs and any other wheel you care to name

You may be right though the weights I found for the 9/11 GT2 Speedlines are 10.3/10.9kg compared to the aluminum 8/10 Speedlines 12.5/13.5kg

also I found where Jean mentions that the GT2 Speedlines on his car are mg.

Magnesium on the OEM Speedines on my 993 GT2. Part of the reason that a couple of years ago I had them checked, put on storage, and swapped w BBS E88s on the car. Extremely difficult to find these wheels, especially as a set.
