Default RS wheel questions

Is there a source to buy rs speedline wheels like these new? What do perfect condition used wheels sell for if they become available? Can you get them in 17 inch with a NB offset?

I bought mine new, 11/07, for ~$4800US. They're meant for NB application.

P1CR:

I'm in Spring Lake near Muskegon, MI. What about yourself? I would love to see them in person. Did you buy your speedlines new?

You can also get them from Carnewal (www.carnewal.com) but the exchange rate is probably a deal killer. Sunset's prices may be the best I've seen.

Or you can talk to jim dorociak on rennlist. His name is also his user name. He restores Speedline wheels as sort of a hobby. I bought a refurbished set for $3800ish and they look better than new. He's the expert on Speedlines.

Don't forget the 17" Speedlines specifically for the Targa. They are probably a lot cheaper, but still cool looking.

Unless it has to say speedline for porsche to make you happy, you might want to look at another option -- the 17 inch kinesis supercups - you can sometimes find them and much cheaper - I think I picked up my used set in decent shape for a $1500 (in my avatar). I believe they are lighter also - the original RS wheels were not the lightest weight wheels. The 17 look nearly the same. The 18 inch do not - the center portion is the same size the ratios are all wrong, but 17 look very good.

The 993 RS wheels are even harder to find than the 3.6 Turbo Speedline wheels. The other great option is the Speedline Alesio wheels they are usually 45 ET 8 on the fronts and 56 ET 10 for the rears. This was Speedlines generic wheel as another offering to the 993 RS Speedline. These wheels were also drilled for BMW, Aston Martins, and Ferraris. Nice wheels and use all Speedline parts including the logo bolts. Jim
