Since we're reviving, just rolled over 150,000 with no symptoms yet. I've begun to track the car more and it's keeping up with 996s and 997s in the straights just fine.

A fellow Rennlister I know well just had his car in for a compression and leakdown test. He has over 100K with no top end. His readings were all in the very acceptable range.

My top end was done at 95k miles and likely could have gone another 10-15k without it. It burned little oil up until 92k miles then started to burn more and more thereafter. It still ran like a top though.

85k something street miles driven by this original owner and NO top end rebuild. Original clutch, etc.

I believe a proper warm-up of the engine is critical to long engine life . . . .

New in October 1997 at 9 miles the oil/all-filter service interval has been at 7.5K miles which is half of the 15K mi factory interval. Throughout the years the 3.6 continues to be a powerful, reliable, dry engine. Motul 300V has been an alternate oil to the factories Mobil 1 fill.
The dry engine burns oil at the rate of 1qt every 3.5/4K miles - winter weight oil is 10/40w Mobil 1.
No SAI issues other than check valve replacement at 40K and 80K miles respectively.

97,690 so far with no signs of power loss or using oil.
Mobil 1 15-50 every 4000 miles. No top end or SAI problems.

192,000 here and no top end. I was amazed how low my numbers were when I passed California emissions last summer. I add a half quart every 1000 miles, but she's dripping a little from somewhere.

Mobil 1 15w-50, Chevron gas, and serviced regularly at Black Forest in SD for the life of the car. I'm the second owner.

I should probably do a leak down test sometime in the next few years ... oh, and it's my daily driver (~50 miles a day). Are these things amazing or what?

Yessssss. Just passed 170,000 yesterday. Still does 2:36 around Sebring, and a better driver would be faster.
