I'm fighting the urge to sell my 97 C4s, but an opportunity has been extended to me for another car.
I know the market is soft and US prices are low, but what is the current value range of this car?
Please note that the rear euro tail lights are no longer on the car.
All comments are welcome.

As you know, I love your car Bob...here's a real offer...$50K with the Ruf wheels. You can keep any other non-stock parts and give me the stock ones...

I'd say $50k+ with all the options listed, really low mileage, tasteful mods and full maintenance. Obv a RL owner....
No way this car should sell in the 40's at all.
glws!

You know, once you've sold it, remorse will eventually set in and you'll probably won't be able to find another as nice as the one you just sold. You've got a fine example, completely sorted out, I'd be inclined to keep it unless there's something on the horizon that is much, much, much, better that you need the funds for.

The classic owners conundrum. There was a great article by Peter Egan in one of the last few months Road & Track. (his regular column is called Side Glances). He traded in his Boxster for a new leftover Mustang GT (the limited edition Bullitt that was only available in green or black for model years 2008 and 2009). In the article, he wrote about the decision to sell his boxster which he had painstainkingly "chased" to get it up to "perfect" condition. He wrote: "I am a member of the "life is short" school. There are so many cars to "own" and so little time to do it".
I thought he wrote about this type of decision perfectly. I've owned approx. 60 cars over the past 40 years (this includes my wife's cars and a few for our children). I've never "kept" any of them more than a year or two (three is my longest). My current '95 993 is the 7th 911 I've owned and I am now approaching 2 1/2 years of ownership. I also "chased" this car for the first 18 months to get it to "near perfect" condition. And I have the same "wanderlust" that Peter Egan wrote about. Time to consider moving on to sample a lot of additional cars before I am senile and unable to put my pants on in the morning.
I love the '95 993 Cab. As Porsche said in some of their older commercials: "there is no perfect car, there is only the perfect car for now"
Good luck with your decision. I suspect another poster is correct. You will not be able to replace this car with one as "perfect" as yours. You will miss it almost immediately, unless you replace it with something much more sinister (such as, say, a 997 Turbo).

If your heart is no longer in it, sell it. But think hard before you sell whether its replacement will bring you as much joy.
I also think that if you want to actually sell and not sit you will be looking at mid to high 40s.
Best of luck with your decision!

Beautiful example. I echo the comments above regarding thinking twice about selling it. That said, I would ask high 40s and contemplate offers in the low-to-mid 40k range.
