I'll give you $15k right now... straight up, cash money.
but seriously, I'd agree w/ the others... would have to have a 5 at the beginning and be at least a 5 digit number. Good luck!

I paid mid-50's for my '98 C4s a year ago, when prices were sillier, and the same miles and similar condition/history/upgrades ('cept for the Ruf wheels; boy they do look fine )
So, if the market has softened, than realistically your *top* is likely at the lower end of the 50's.
It will be a hard car to replace, so try to imagine the seller's remorse before you pull the trigger.
Good luck if you do decide to sell

Wow, big dollars..
I'd thought based on all the threads lately discussing 993 C2S's in the low 40's that I had actually lost a lot of value on my car.
Granted, I have more miles than you do (about 45k on my odo).. But it's nice to know people still think $50's are a possibility..
(I have your twin in a 2s.)
Not for sale though
How are your seats wearing? Just curious...

Congrats, Mark. Looks like a great car. Enjoy. As a new member I've been amazed at how fast, easily and well great transactions like this happen.

Hi Scott. thanks for the link.
A few more miles, no Aero II kit, no RUFs, no sport seats.
I really hope he gets $52.5k
I'm on the fence to sell or not, since the ONLY thing I'll gain is a turbo and "few" hps.
Is it worth $20k, $25k for that?
Bob
P.S. are you enjoying your car again?

All I could think of when I saw the options and pics of your was "This guy is nuts to sell that sweet example of a 993". What exactly ARE you thinking of trading "up" to? A 993 TT? A 997TT? I think you're better off with the known quantity, what you already have. But that's just me, I'm totally biased towards the C4S.
Good luck with your sale or keep, whatever you choose. I couldn't imagine parting with that car unless it was due to economic conditions or getting something like a 993 TT-S.

You end up with a much stronger car, yet still a totally known-entity and no having to deal with selling/buying/trading a vehicle.
Just a thought. FWIW.
