ps:yrs ago, i heard from a friend who did the brand adverts in the sates for porsche (during the change over); said the japanese assembly schooling/knowlege made for: robots & likeness in parts for variants (boxster & 996 = same nose, interiors, etc.)... all w/ the mindset of speed, staying in business & growing... bitter sweet. also, why i'll always love the 993's & previous.

Great show - actually a great series of shows! Some nice archival footage as well. As a side, anyone else notice that no one on the line smiles..? Didn't look like happy campers

my son and i watched it at 8pm and then i watched it again at 11pm. what a great show...it looked like some of the early shots were taken from the "made by hand" video most 356 guys have. if you guys haven't seen that, it's a pretty good watch, too. it shows the early days of 356 production. i think you can search for it on youtube, but it's in a couple different parts. here's part 1:
