Agree that this would a primo price. Not too much north of that and you'd be in turbo territory. Definitely want to see how this one works out. Don't wait....run....to that dealer.

In MD, if you trade in a car towards a purchase of a new car, does the trade in get deducted from the purchase price yielding a sales tax savings?
If so, $47k at 6% MD sales tax means you're actually getting an additional $2,820 for a grand total of $49,820 deducted from your purchase. Only $180 less than the $50k you want.
Forget the private sale hassle and take the trade in money and RUN FOREST RUN!!!

Wow! I would take the money too. That offer has got to be at 2-3 yo pricing. Maybe you passed thru some sort of time continuum. ![ducking](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon107.gif)

My guess is that private sale on the car is $42K - $45K tops...dealer retail might be a few thousand more.

Somebody here paid $39k for a C4S with ~25-30k mi a few weeks ago. Zedder is right on the money.

Unless the this dealer has a VIP repeat customer who's been looking for that EXACT car, I'd have expected him to offer you around $10K less (at least) and list it for around what he has offered. No way he has mistaken it for a Turbo with the rear badge you have on it! Even with very low miles and excellent condition, dealers just don't make offers like that these days...
Grab the money!!
