Default 996TT twist on 993NB

I tried searching but didn't find this info so sorry for the newbie question...but I am wondering if the 18" 996TT twist wheels would fit on the NB? I want my car to have a more aggressive look by going with lower offset/wider wheels.

Thanks.

There is a NB fitment but they are solid spokes and heavy.

How are you guys running the TT wheels on NB cars - do you need some form of spacer or something to combat the offset?

I am running replicas at the moment, but they are damn heavy!!

The rear widebody offsets won't work on your narrowbody. If you already have 18" 993 wheels with NB offsets then you can add 7-10mm spacers front and rear for a more aggressive look.

Spacers actually don't help. 993s have negative offsets, so adding a spacer would reduce the offset further (i.e a 20mm spacer added to a ET40 996 TT wheel gets you to ET20)

The "TT" designation leads to some unfortunate confusion .... however, as you said, "TT twists", I presume that implies the hollow spoke 'techno twists' from a 996 Twin Turbo - the latter which is frequently the source of the 'TT' aka 996TT .... which is a wide body with ET45 rears: these are too far offset for the rear of a 993 NB chassis - no go!
If "TT" is taken as Techno Twist, then the narrow body 996 version will have the correct ET65mm; however, I do not know if this NB version is hollow spoke light weight as is the WB version.

The WB version comes in both heavy and not so heavy weights..

No, spacers won't work. Like the other poster ^ said, you need the "skinny" version of the rims. ET65 for the rear and not ET47...me thinks....oops..unless u already have NB rims and want a more aggresive look, then the spacers will work.....
