I personally wouldn't spend that kind of money this car. That's just me.

Wow.... What's the ROI? Let's say that MY97 MSRP'd for,,, I dunno $65K....
And just how do ya calculate the $ pain $ associated with not driving that sucker for 13 years?

Looks to be a very, very nice '97 993 C4S example!

Why would you want to own a museum piece? If you were to drive it, you'd kill the value. For that money, I'd buy a Turbo AND a high mileage C2.

That's just weird. I can't imagine what people who park cars like this are thinking....

that car is useless. At $93k, any buyer will not be able to drive it or the value plummets like crazy (and if you want to drive it, just get a higher mile example), and since its so overpriced, it offers no garage queen investment value.

That guy will sit on it forever at $93k.

Wow, it is a thing of beauty! I like his description (none) and his ebay experience (none).

He would have a better chance of getting those bucks if he had a Turbo.

In the world there's always someone with money in their pocket to burn.

What an enlightenment eh!

Interesting find, Red; this would have to be a museum car.

Cool license plate, though. And I'll have to re-research those nice aluminum accents on the brake handle and shifter.

That is a beautiful car but I wouldn't spend that kind of money for it. There's no telling what kind of issues you might have with it sitting for so long. I think the best way to take care of these cars is to drive them. Sitting for long periods of time is never good for any machine.

I like the red sport seats and don't mind cashmere interior, but I don't really care for the combination of the 2.

Nice car, but there's a pretty limited market for something like that.

I think he has it up more for the advertising than for the idea that someone would buy it at that price.

This is just wrong.
He should just donate it to a prestigious motor museum and take the tax credit. He'll NEVER sell it at THAT price.
I'd wager he's just one of those people who has (tangible) things - just to possess them - but never to value them -- and is putting one such thing up on ebay -- just to show YOU what HE has.
Keep flauntin' sucker ...and whistlin' dixie.

G.
