What's with low mile, Guards red/cashmere, sport seat equipped 97 C4Ss? Sloan had a 1300 mile gr/cash 97 C4S with sport seats (non-painted backs though) a couple years ago, a similar (same?) 1600miler showed up on ebay a few months later, now this 1700 miler. With the painted seat backs probably not the same car but I wonder.....

When I opened this, I was certain it was going to be a turbo.
If he drops his price by about 25k, he might find a buyer.

The guards red seat backs look hideous to me. Too bright for that interior. Maybe better in person...
It would have been a more interesting ad for me if he put an explanation of why this car, 13 years later has such low mileage. Was it his from day 1? Why didn't he drive it? Didn't he like it? If he did like it, why not drive it? Does he have 20 cars or something and just never got around to it? WTF?

You guys are funny. Yes there are some people who can afford to buy a car and not drive it. Just for the pure enjoyment of collecting them. I'm not one of those, but would love to be one. You think Seinfeldt drives all his Porsches to high mileage?

While I personally would not spend the kind of money for that car, it's people like the owner of that C4S that people who look for lower mile cars are grateful for.
As for price, there is a perfect way to justify every purchase. Nearly every new $100k car will see ~50% depreciation within three years and someone out there will see nothing wrong with buying this "new" 993, putting 30k mi over the next three years and ending up with a $45k car.
Personally, I'd rather spend $10k less and get a 7GT3 with 15k mi.

Interesting responses. I guess for most of us, $93K is a very large amount for a 13 years old car. But if someone who had the money and missed the opportunity to buy a new one, then now is the opportunity. If I had the "MONEY", I would buy it and drive it like a daily car. Remember, that's IF I HAD MONEY TO BURN.
Another scenario, is a car collector. This is a perfect opportunity. Not many 993 out there with this mileage and condition.
Another thought... we are all lover of the 993, why not give it some value to such a nice car with extremely low mileage. Only can help our car's values.
Same can be said of the Porsche 959! What, can buy a couple of 997 GT2 for that money?
