Your work and your passion is sensational and I have a new dream, which is wroth to be dreamed!
Praise translates well in any language!

Thanks Marc
My German is exceptionally poor, so I can't even begin to reply in your native Tongue!

It was an 'interesting' build experience, but worth it - my wife though may not agree!
I'm sure that more 993 Speedster's will 'appear' in the future, perhaps at the sacrifice of 964's, as the parts required for conversion get harder & harder to source.

Congrats on the project. A very very nice ride.
I bought the Total911 mag just for the article on your car.

I wanted to ask you about the steering wheel you have on the car. How do you find it? I have sat in another car that also had the same steering wheel with the flappy paddles - but how is it like to live with? I'm contemplating on getting one myself.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Ken

Thanks Ken for the kind comments!
I changed the wheel primarily as I struggle threading my legs into the car whilst getting in & out (I'm over 6') so went for a smaller diameter s-wheel but wanted to retain the tip function on the wheel.
The flappy paddles just wired straight up to the tip controls as per the standard car - TBH I infrequently use them as the 993 tip box is not the quickest changing box out there anyway, and if you drive the car with some aplomb, stabbing the throttle to provoke kick down, the electronics soon 'learn' and hold on to the gears longer and start to change a higher rpm etc.
Cheers
Graham

As Porsche states in the owner's manual, I "wish you many sunny days, many miles of pleasurable driving in the open air"!

Now I took a shortcut...

Since years I'm dreaming about a 993 Speedster. The last 12 month I was planing and calculating a metamorphose from a 993 convertible to a 993 Speedster, the issue was much to bad. Some important parts are not available anymore, anyhow the sum for the parts only (incl. widebody) rised above 60.000 Euros.

Finally I had a lot of luck. In the last five month we had three 993 Speedsters for sale in Germany (that's unusual for us as well)! The first one was the black car from Munich (105.000km), the second one the 2007 Freisinger car (2.700km) and the third is still the 2011 Freisinger car (76.000km).

Now I'm very proud to present my 993 SpeedsterS, it's the silver 2007 Freisinger SpeedsterS. There are already alot of pictures of my car at rennlist. In the next weeks I will do some changes at the car, after that I will publish current pictures.
