I haven't even picked up my first 993 yet and I don't want to feed her with the wrong juice when I do.
What fuel types are you using? Octane? Ethanol or non-ethanol? What does Porsche recommend?

Use only premium unleaded gas. What octane that is depends upon the state you live in, but anything over 91 should be fine. You are unlikely to get a choice of with or without oxygenators (ethanol or otherwise).

Thanks, the only reason I asked about blended fuel is because I had run into an issue with ethanol in my ducati. Apparently it deteriorates the plastics in the fuel tank causing a gross distortion in it's shape over time, a very short time. This issue is only in the US since the EU doesn't blend their fuel.

Major brand 93 Octane without ethanol (which, BTW, costs more to make than the gasoline it's supposed to save!). BTW, I pass up any station where I see the tanker delivering. They stir up the sediment.

91 is the best that I can get here in Nebraska and seems to work fine. Used to be able to get 92 at BP but they went down to 91. I always say no to corn gas. I have respect for famers but not going to support their lobby.
