Rennlist/ PCA member's 993 SPEEDSTER

Bet Chuck would be happy to know we burned rubber through Kelly's shots.
Another RLer that just burned rubber recently is someone else very familiar with the formidable threat of cancer.
Yesterday, JoAnne warmed her sneaker treads with thousands of others, earning & donating to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
Read more about her heroism, fund-raising fun & the generosity of so many RLers here.

Back to the last of Kelly's new Palooza pix:
It was the year of the Speedster. Jager surprised everyone when he showed up. AS ususal his car was surrounded.
Jager was given a special "SPIRIT" Award that isn't given out that often, he certainly deserved it and I was proud to be the first to stand up for the standing ovation that the room gave him. That man is special in more ways than one.
It would have been wonderful with Chuck, but it was still special having many RLers to enjoy Palooza with.
Thanks again to Mother Superior for the prominent parking spot mentioned on the previous page

Any RLers driving through Memphis that would LUV to add another to your caravan, please send me a PM.
As much as I'd like to say it's for me ... no, it's for some friends who would love to rendezvous with RLers.
They're capable, spirited drivers that taught me everything I needed to master Highway 23's "Tail of the Pig," & are great at driving in fluid formation on the highway, too.
They've asked me for someone to drive with. Little Rockers might want to meet them near Searcy or Clinton, AR, etc.
Here's my shot with their Guards Red 997 C4S, photographed on Veteran's Day
...& here's his Palooza pic of Speedy:

Kudos to the RLers who have different driving schedules, but are planning to meet up with the above friends at Palooza

They're still looking for someone to meet up with; leaving this Fri from TN.
In the meantime, they've asked for photos of their 997 Cab with Speedy that I never shared:
Check out the window stickers (Thanks, MagDaddy!)

By request: more pics from Eureka Springs, AR, site of this year's Porsche Club of America "Escape to the Ozarks"
It's a protective covering for the interior ^^ 100% UV-proof
FYI- 100% of my friends' below 997 Cabriolet's painted surfaces are covered by protective clearbra!

Beautiful fall colors -- and convertibles!
Today's forecast at 'Escape to the Ozarks' is 72°F - amazing November weather and amazing country roads
...awesome fun for PCA Palooza
Eureka Springs is a community favored by artistic talents.
Notice the art in the foreground (& curvaceous sheetmetal throughout )

This thread needs a bump.
Hey Curve - nice new avatar!
<----- Look! I made one!
However, the repetitive movement in your avatar is getting, well, annoying. I do like the pictures in it though!
Take care!

Thanksgiving Day post
Thanks, FrenchT!
Today, on a U.S. federal holiday that features large parades throughout the country, here are more pictures to enjoy.
They're from a recent holiday parade that Speedy was invited to:
the largest Veterans Day parade west of the Mississippi...
Ray of light from the heavens ... twice!
A view inside Speedy:
Appropriate photos to put at the rear of the post, to end on

Marc - that is a gorgeous car! The charcoal cup Speedlines and silver go great. Even in those grainy, distorted road photos it looks good!
I see you have an RS6 plus - wow! And a 2007 993 - nice
All these 993 Speedsters are making me get parts to build one. Unfortunately, I won't be able to fit in it
Take care!
