Folks have shown a fun fascination here with the über-rare paint-to-sample 997 Speedsters, otherwise only advertised in blue & white.
In addition to making 'fast friends' with the RLer owner of a Guards Red, + showing in the Santa Fe Concorso with a black one (& getting asked to drive it, above)...
enjoy this PTS yellow:

Roc-- High praise indeed^^ Thank you, sir!
I had a little help - a wonderful resource called "Rennlist." Is this place great or what?

Speaking of the passage of time: you've been missed! ...>8 months since your last post; hope you're back to stay
Other than RLer verhag (Denny) proudly owning your 993 C4S, what's new - think you were eyeing a 993TT or 997S?
Your son Aaron progressing on the family's 356 restoration?
The best thing about having my 993 in the nation's oldest car show (>100 years), with >1 million fans in attendance, was meeting the incredible RLers that were there, & at the following weekend's Hershey, PA swap meet

thanks for the concern...makes me feel like i'm still part of the group. i still check rennlist regularly, just hardly post...i miss my car.
The 356 restoration is SLOWLY coming along. after removing the interior, we found some rust under the passenger seat. good and bad...good is they are original flloor pans and longitudinals...bad = the floor pan needs replaced. working on another engine i bought a while back...it will be a little more HP than the original super 1600.
i bought my company back in december 2010 so i have been totally engrossed in that. still searching for a car. i thought i wanted a newer turbo or gt3 but i just cant seem to shake the 993. who knows...hopefully i'll be back in the fold soon.
