Default Is it getting warm in here?

Well, it's getting warm(er) around here. I lived all of my life up until the last 1.5 years in SoCal, so I'm still adjusting....

Still adjusting to the car as well. Yesterday the temps were a bit of a concern as I finally saw the fan kick in. After researching here I ended up back at p-car.com and after reading this:
http://p-car.com/diy/fan/

... no worries, after all.
(Thanks to Robin and all who contribute at p-car.com)

I may get around to this as well:

(Thanks to Edward.)

Thanks for sharing. This is my first summer w/ my car. It reached 90 here in Atlanta today and my guage reached the 9:00 position and I started to get nervous. But, the p-car.com link says all is good, 9:00 is normal for freeway driving.

Sure. Here are some links with info on installing a manual oil cooler fan switch (if you want to run cooler.)

It's been incredibly cool here. Rain and thunderstorms!! OMG. I thought it was the North Koreans when I heard the booms yesterday.
In June? Very weird.

Of course it will be blistering hot pretty soon...........

My temp gauge gets to about 8:30 (just above the line) on warm days stop light to stop light. On the FWY at fwy speeds temp is just below 8:00.
