Parts, parts, parts... Parting out a 993
I am parting out a 993 for a customer. It was hit in the front end (no too bad) but the insurance company elected to total it. The car was a creampuff '98 C2S with 35xxx miles. It has only been driven a few thousand miles in the past year. The car was owned by a doctor that kept it in mint condition. So here are the first few bits for sale:
1) Transmission - The tranny was in perfect condition. No limited slip, but these boxes are getting harder to come by these days $5200.
2) PSS9s - These were put on just over a year ago so are in great shape. $1100
3) '98 rear decklid with split grille. Always a crowd pleaser. Bolt on if you have a Guards Red car. $500
4) CCU (or Climate Control unit) - Yes the bloody thing that fails with great frequency in the 964s and the 993s. $500
5) Big Red Brakes - The Owner bought these and installed them just over 2000 miles ago, so virtually no wear on the pads or rotors. They have the rear RS calipers BTW.... $2000 / SOLD
All prices are plus shipping.
There will be more coming. The car had a few nice options. If you need anything in the mean time (black interior BTW), let me know.
Thanks
Bob

Thanks Tony, I know. Shame as the car was a great 993... The weather is finally clearing here in Tampa so I can get the car taken apart... A number of people have been asking about bits, so I thought I would start now...

Hey Bob,
I'm going away for the weekend and will not be able to reply until Wednesday but I am interested in the windshield and the mufflers (if they are not trashed). Thanks.
Tom
