Do you lose access to the rear seats with these seats?
Since the seats don't tilt, it's a tight squeeze getting to the rear seats even with the seats all the way forward. As you can see, the BK truss I got there essentially rendered the rear seats useless.

I like how the Misanos look as well, but I wanted to get a set of seats that's compatible with 5- or 6-point harnesses. I hope I won't miss the tilt feature much......

Thanks. I saw some of your pictures from Germany at Darin's shop the other day. How 'bout posting a few here on the board?

Yes. The stock seatbelts work fine. As you could see in the last pic, the seat belt buckle sticks out a little higher compared with the stock seat. The seat belt lower mount on the outside of the car comes off easily, which allows me to thread the belt through the upper and lower openings of the seat.

Looks great! Do you keep height adjustability with this setup?

Height adjustment is not easily made with GT3 shell seats.

Mark is correct. There is only one set of holes drilled in the stock side mounts for these seats. Maybe the Recaro side mounts would be different???? Someone else may have the answer to that here.

You can always put a roof box on your car......

My wife rarely rides in the P-car now. We have a 2 year old son, so any weekend trip requires the use of the family wagon.

Hello Mike,
I am glad you are enjoying the seats. They look great.
They do look much better then sitting in my spare room, collecting dust.
By the way, just sold my Speed Yellow Twin turbo this morning. In case you are interested, I do have a set of Kinesis wheels with almost new Michelins pilot sports. 315 rears and 215 fronts. They would look great on your car.
I guess I should change my Avatar.....

Thanks Al. Sorry to hear that you have to part with your car, but there's always hope that you'll find something better in the future. As for the tires, how come the fronts are only 215's? Also not sure if 315's would fit in the back without rolling the fenders.

One word: Simply beautiful. Ok maybe two. They have the perfect color match for your car.

Hi Mike,
I made a mistake, the tire sizes are 235 front and 315 rears. They are the GT2 sizes. They should fit your car with no issues due to the correct offset on the kinesis rims. They fit perfectly on my car.
One person who would know for sure, may be some one else who has a wide body may chime in?

Al, I'm going to have to pass on the wheels and tires for now. My wife just told me the front end of the car is showing its age......
