I'm considering working the plug into the ashtray, with some rubber pads to hold the iPod in position, but this whole iPod setup for me is still in the planning stages. Anyone tried or done this, and have any pics?

I switched from cdr210 to cdr220, and noticed a BIG improvement in sound. More so then changing the speakers. It also looks an feels a lot better....

can one connect his i-phone 3G to the i-pod out? and if so, can you still recieve phone calls?

My question is: where are people place the end of the wire for the iPod? In other words, where is the best place to put your iPod so it doesn't slide around while you drive and still have easy access to it, and where should the end of the wire stick out?
I ran mine under the center console 7 it pops out @ the e-brake. I found it sits in the e-brake tray with no issues, & make changing songs easy.

Mark, sorry for unintentionally hi-jacking your thread. I ordered my CDR-220 and will let you know how things work out if you want.
