Default Lowering Springs....

I was ordering springs for my MBZ and came across these for the 993.

Seems pretty reasonable, anyone here ever use them?

The guys on the MB forums have given them decent reviews.

Vogtland makes great stuff!!! I have been asking them to make some real suspensions for Porsches.

The Audi guys LOVE Vogtlands!

Yes, I have used them, had the coil overs on my S4.

People used to put Eibach lowering springs on their 993s, but its not as popular these days. The problem is that you have to use the lousy stock shocks. The preferred solution is to use ROW M030 springs (which are a bit firmer and also lower) with Bilstein Heavy Duty (HD) shocks (also firmer). This actually gives a performance improvement, unlike lowering springs with stock shocks.

Cool, and what about Koni yellows, the adjustable ones?

Koni Yellows are on my 968 - Love them! I think they are better shocks than Bilstein HDs. Unfortunately not available for 993s.

Koni makes a great shock, however, for the 993 they only make the front, there are no rears available.
