Default Wanted: 993 centre reflector

I'm wondering if anyone happens to have a new or like new centre reflector available. I found one on ebay in Nov. but due to the seller not packaging properly, it sounded like a box of Cheerios upon arrival. The seller promised to send another but, amazingly, nothing has surfaced. I hate dishonest people! I know they're available new for ~$350US but am hoping someone might have a nice one sitting around. Probably wishful thinking but you never know until you try!

Thankyou.

I got one, that the back up lights have some brown stuff around the edges, & it has a small crack.

Today I saw something that was pretty neat looking on a C4...The rear reflector was painted body color and the reverse lights were modified and recessed 1/4" or so...

It looked very nice, IMO.

Well, Hans had an old one and graciously delivered it to my door! The lens part was undamaged but needing some TLC that may or may not work. Then the fun part. Marry the good lens to the good "backing" piece. Frankenstein anyone? We'll see if it works.

Do you have a spare backup light harness(wires and sockets)?

OK, time to vent. I decided to buck up for a new reflector and went to the local shop to order it along with several other items (valve cover gaskets, spoiler wall, spare DME, stone guards, hood shocks etc.). The dealer even did an extremely good job of matching the best internet pricing. Well I got a call thismorning saying my order was ready. One problem, the rear reflector was broken. DOH!!!! I'm beginning to think my 97 isn't meant to have a nice new rear reflector! Oh well, maybe fourth time lucky. Sorry, rant over.

I know, I know. The biggest problem Canadians have is shipping. Brokerage fees from couriers + duty + taxes = PITA! The local shops have become quite aggressive with price matching in the last year to the point where it's easier to order locally. That way when problems such as this arise, it's the dealer's problem and not mine. If this continues however, there may be a shortage of 993 reflector panels LOL!
