To keep the cost low, we are doing these on an exchange basis. We send you the RS-Style rod, you ship back the stock rod.
There is quite a list going and we can currently handle 2 at a time. The speed of completion will depend on how fast the cores come back.
If someone can ship theirs to be modified and wait for it to come back, that works too and may be faster in some cases.
Hopefully that makes sense

Mark, Will that rod fit the turbo? and what is the advantage? My car has some sort of short shifter. Will this work? Please PM me a price..
Thanks
Mike, yep, it will fit.
The RS rod (and this "RS-style" rod) fit all 993s.
The issues arise when adding the RS short shift fork and lever to an AWD 993. The rod is the same either way.
The difference is painfully obvious when you compare the rag joint rod with the RS rod. The non-RS rods are made to dampen vibration. Too much, IMO. There is A LOT of play in that joint. I cannot describe how sloppy they are.
The RS rods and very tight and precise.
As for vibration... well, I have never noticed anything negative with the RS rods... other than a much better shift feel. Hope that helps!
As soon as we get folks taken care of I will have one on my turbo too
Darin already has the first one on his...
