Default RS-Style Shift Rod - aka Cactus' Golden Rod :)

So here it is... the first revision. Darin (FisterD) and I had the time to get one of these completed yesterday. There will be some slight improvements but we have the overall design figured out.
We were able to keep the dust boot positioned closer to the non-RS config. (less stretched)

This one is on Darin's car being "road tested" and it is pretty sweet. Guess it should be, since it is pretty much the same as the real thing. I can't wait to get one made for my car...

Mr. Cactus, we'll be in touch... the "improved" version will be on it's way to you soon.

Without further ado, I give you, Cactus' Golden Rod

Mark,
Excellent work! It looks like this will be great solution for people who want the RS rod but break out in hives at the current pricing of the factory piece...

Also, it's interesting to see how the dust boot changed - mine is a 6/94 build date:

The new shift rod feels great! Much crisper and more mechanical.

Yes, I am.........

yes, pic would be good if you can.
Just want to see if yours is an early or 95-on version.
It may depend on build date... but I'm not sure of the cut-off date yet.

Nicely Done!
A fine example of "I gotta have it" trumping good old "Necessity" as the Mother of Invention!
What's next?
