Mark -

Do you have a sense of pricing re. standard vs. deluxe, finished product, core exchange, etc...?

I'm definitely down for one, just need to decide std or dlx.

Thanks! Wish I didn't have a day job, this is what I call fun. Much more fun than IT management stuff (Scott, if you are reading this... don't tell my boss I said that )
That is the shop email address.

Matt,
On the "deluxe" version, the joint itself is $100. This has to be an exchange thing since even a new stock shift rod would make it cost prohibitive. We have a couple of cores to work off of and might have another (I still need to contact nsully!)
Price on deluxe version will still be much less than half of the RS rod.

PM Sent with more.

I will go with the regular since it is covered with a boot and the tunnel cover (which BTW I am studying up on carbon fiber and how to make things out of it) That metal tunnel cover is heavy and since the trend lately (Thanks Andreas) is to show everyone the undercarriage I figured this would be a good place to start!!!!!!

Hmmmm....

CF tunnel cover? Sweet!

while you are at it you need to make the front trans cover that sits right behind the tunnel cover.

Gotcha covered on the "standard RS-Style rod". We will (hopefully!) have some done this weekend.

A composite tunnel cover is entirely possible with reasonable tooling costs. Any interest?

I was just going over the methods of making CF with our plastics/molding expert and it was making my head spin. I was just trying to figure out where all the costs were and I think I know now. It starts with the materials.....

Only down side is that we effectively raise the CG height of the car by using a carbon tunnel cover
