It's hard to hide that kind of miles. You can tell when a car has been driven. A good PPI should be abel to tell you of the miles. He does stats he has the paper work to show the miles.

I agree. With a carfax, maintenance/service records and a good PPI, I think it should be easy to tell if it is a 50Kmile car or a 14K mile car. Nevertheless, the odo issue is still an issue!
Also, has anyone been able to confirm or refute that the odo indeed needs to be changed for a cf dash? I don't think most people on RL will be able to accept that a valid explanation.

You can also check the engine hours with OBDII, so you could estimate the mileage.

The lucky winner made the final and winning bid 6 seconds before the end of the auction. What a great deal "steal" even if the milage is not correct.
