I'm not even a "convertible guy", it's not a GT3 or even GT3 powered but LOOK AT IT!

Yup, surely with a price to make the US price look cheap. (For those in the US, Canadians pay considerably more for their new Porsches. Far more than just the exchange rate.)

You don't say?

I know it's not a GT3 or such but it floats my boat. If you can afford to buy this new, you've probably got other Porsches to fill various niches so this would be a fantastic car to just "feel better" in. Me? I'm hoping it's a monumental flop with resale values reflecting this. $60K in three years? I highly doubt it.

Tim - you have NO idea about paying more. In AU it has (and still is) always been like this.... A RORT!

Example - A 997 GT2 RS is OVER $600K in AU Pesos. - And yes the dollar when compared to the US is almost PARITY.....

I have a mate that bought a 993TT in the us NEW in '96 and in AU new in '97.

The price was approx $135K in the US - and in AU over $300k....

Just saying how well you got it!
Simon.
