Default G50/32 RS CS Gearsets

I posted this earlier and have a few of the gears left, at least one complete 3-6 and then some ind gears after that. Someone else needs to do this...this was the single best individual 993 mod I did, I had 8 993's so I assure You its from experience!LOL

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum/465548-g50-gears-fs-rs-ratios-and-g50-21-a.html

The gears are very close to the g50-21 but pretty much dead on for the g50-32 RS gears.

...... just a naive question ... but will a G64/20 box accept the equivalent G50/21,RS gears - or does the forward main shaft preclude these mods??

Depending on the year 1 and/or 2 will be integral to the mainshaft(exceptions are any of the /3x trans mainshafts)

other than that g64 and g50 use the same gears and other internal components.

the difference between then is all at the nose where the g64s have the extra v/c

Glen is absolutely right about the regearing being one of the best things you can do for a car w/ a /20

I bought a set of gears from Glen, they just arrived yesterday -- he's a great guy, very nice to deal with, and the gears were in great shape. Highly recommended.

The ratios I have left are :

3rd,(1) 1.41(used as a ultra short 4 usually),

4th (1) 1.24 (SuperCup ratio or G50/32 RS ratio),(1) 1.18

5th (1).93(makes a great short 6) ,(1)1.16(g50 Cup/RSR ratio short 5,or ultra short 6),

6th (3).857(These are SuperCup or G50/32 RS ratio 6th) or (1).775

In the six spd any 3 and 4 fit either 3 or 4 ,and any 5 or 6 fits either 5th or 6th.

Feel free to ping me with any questions at all.

Ok, noobie questions. How hard of a job is this and how expensive are the parts?
Thanks!

I second that recommendation! Over the years I have too bought a LOT of stuff from the Glen parts Depot including my trailer and something VERY special I'm just thankful that I'm now far away from him. He is such a bad man

Thx to Glen for being a class act. He spent a generous amount of time on the phone with me tonight, not only figuring out appropriate gear ratios, but also with lots of other helpful 993 advice. He obviously has an incurable illness .

What is the Est. Cost of doing this Mod? I'm sure there are many different ways of pulling this off, ie. exchange G-50 Gearbox, etc. But give me an $$ idea of the budget alternatives.
