so you used the BK 9062 side mounts w/ Recaro sliders. Did you use the BK R 9001 that bolts to the side mounts for the belts?

This is all starting to come together

BK-9062 side mounts
BK- 9031 sub strab bar
Recaro sliders

The last bit will be the tunnel belt mounts, I think MB965 used BK 9003 for the tunnel belt mounts

Bill:

Drill the pan for the sub-belts. In a frontal impact, the sub-straps can be under a tremendous load (6 kN [1,320 lb] each in a 5-or 6-point racing harness during FIA testing requirements of 50kph / 30 g impact). I'm not sure I'd trust a bar that's just bolted to the sliders. I drilled for the sub belts in both of my 993s. You can make the install very clean (see photos)... not that anyone will see them though under the seat

Not sure, but I plan to go with a 6 pt, because the 5 point is very discomforting.
