the "second" car (black 993 pics)
Thought I'd post a few pics of the new to me 993. I took the hollow spokes off (tires marginal) and on went the 996 replica wheels. Looking to do a few mods but in no rush, enjoying driving it quite a bit. I really want a set of RUF's for this one!

Nice looking car! I hear you on the Rufs, I know they are heavy, but I think they look awesome and want a set, too.
I actually talked to Mark at Ruf today. A set of 18 x 8.5 & 10s is $3499. The fronts weigh 27 lbs and the rears are 30lbs each. The 996 style rims look great for now.

Beautiful. Still surprises me how nice the 996 wheels look on our cars.

Three Wheelin'
Beautiful car Tim. Spitting image of mine with the exceptions of the wheels and lowered stance. I definetly like yours in that regard.
With regard to the RUF wheels, when Mike J (a friend) and I were attending the Sun Peaks event this summer I told him how much I admired his RUF's. I told him I would offer him 400 CDN dollars for all four. I expected him to say no, which he did, but I feel like I've softened him up. You might offer him less but don't forget he is a black belt in some form of martial art you don't want to mess with.
