Default Air Cooled Porshe's are leaving our country fast. Sell Stock and buy Porsche's!

I know this topic has been brought up before but I just read an article in the new Car & Driver featuring "Best cars under $25,000". In the article they used a 964 borrowed from Victory. Victory stated that they sell on average 40 air cooled Porsche's a month. They stated that of the 40 Pcars sold, 25 are being shipped back to Europe, 5 are going to Canada, and the remaining 10 are staying in the States.

Are that many Porsche's leaving the county that fast?

Forget about investing in Gold and stocks. We should put our investment money into air cooled Porsche's!

That's fine with me. In 10 years, there will be hardly any good 911's left, & all of ours will be worth much more $$!

No - what it means is that you should invest in Victory motors .

We really think they are selling FIVE HUNDRED cars a year? Love to know where the inventory is coming from, for a single used car dealer.................

Victory's claims have been proven false time & again. Car & Driver should know better than to simply take such pompous assertions on face value.

This makes it even more important that a Rennlister buys Mel's wonderful red Ruf bodied car in San Antonio-it is too good to leave our shores.

I think Victory's sales stats are BS and I agree that it's sad to see them go off shore, but as Stealth said, ours will be that much more rare and we will see increased value

I don't believe they are selling 40 air cooled cars a month. Maybe they did it one time, but even that might be a stretch.

Well, they're probably not shipping out the pick of the litter anyway - so long as the Holt, Dawdiak, Truspeed, and RPM cars stay here...

If Victory is selling that many cars a month...there are a ton of pissed off Porsche owners.

The currency exchange is a huge issue, and advantage goes to the over-seas customer.

when i bought my 356 and joined The Registry, there were about 2 full pages of cars for sale in the monthly mag. now, we're lucky to see 1 single car for sale. that car has seen an increase in value greater than any stock or property has ever done for me.

do you guys think the 993 will become the "356" in 30 years? look at production numbers...i think there were 2000 '58 coupes built. my '97 c4s has about 940 brothers out there...just a thought...

Victory is only a single source BS or not, we'll certainly see the sales postings here and to the vehicles disposition whether it be staying in or leaving North America.
I'm all for increases in $$$ due to dwindling supply.
