Easy. RL used to be cheap, fast and reliable. Now there is corporate overhead to pay for.

Me too.

This is one business that I am so surprised to see are still in business. The stories that are frequently told are really unbelievable.

There are MORE than enough Porsche owners unwilling to face the real-world cost of properly rebuilding these engines and MM appeals mainly to those folks. No shortage of customers based on the phone calls & e-mails I get about them.

I've had 2 of their engines all apart here so I know what they do,.. You would NEVER, EVER believe what I've seen.

Hopefully, people use the Google tools to perform due diligence before sending their engine anywhere and spending any money.

MM is a horrendous swindling operation, and there are at least a dozen threads on Pelican documenting this reality.

Part of me is outraged at their criminal dishonesty; but part of me is outraged at all the people who are perfectly willing to pay thousands of dollars, sometimes over ten thousand dollars, to a shop without even so much as typing its name into Google. Half of the first page of search results is links to Motor Meister horror stories. Why people cannot be bothered to do half a minute of due diligence is beyond me.

I was floored when I saw their advertising on here, I cannot believe RL would do this. There are many stories on here and Pelican where they have swindled thousands of dollars from people.

Maybe this is a watershed moment for RL, it's the people that make this site great, but am questioning why we need to help fund the site......
