Someone like CaptainGSR can drive my car and tell me how the difference is too.
Just PM me and we'll meet one of these days.

It let's you adjust the height of the car via a wireless remote. It's on their website but last I looked they only had applications for 997s and 430s.

I had these installed but it looked like a large puddle under the car from one of the coilovers leaking. The manager at KW still thinks this could be assembly oil. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to tell if the coilover has leaked assembly oil or actual oil? The mechanic seemed to think that it was definately the shock leaking and not assembly oil.

Bummer. I hope this is an anomaly. Good luck with the fix.

If its a puddle, certainly shock oil. Is there a red or blue color to it?

What would a red or blue color mean? I didnt see the puddle in person, but in the box where it was leaking to begin with it looked clear.

Just feels like KW was trying to not deal with me the right way, and now if it really is leaking I am going to have to spend a lot of money to get it swapped back and forth.

Oh, I thought it was a puddle in your garage. I still dont buy the 'assembly oil' theory.

+1. That is a ridiculous excuse.

KW enjoys an enviable reputation in Europe for performance and ride quality so I am following this thread VERY closely.

Warranty & technical support are, IMHO the most important aspects of any product so I hope they measure up to some of their competitors which are exemplary in that respect.

PM sent, any help would be awesome. I feel as though it does suck to make the customer jump through hoops and possibly a lot of money for what I think is a defective part.

I will attach a picture showing what I am talking about. But the mechanic took a pic on his cell phone of the puddle in his garage while the car was on the lift. If they said this was a common problem with the assembly oil the amount in the box would make sense to me. They told me to put everything on its softest setting and push down on the shock 10 times and repeat a few times. The leak stopped. But once i tightened them back up and they were put on the car, it leaked again just sitting in the air.

Nice Stella!!! And the suspension is sweet too.

Since Utah is the beer capital of the US, I can spot a Stella a mile away.
