Default Sound file of DachX sport cat?

Anyone has a sound file of the DachX sport cat? And how they are compared to the Fabspeed bypass pipes? Quiter?

Reason I am asking is that I just installed the Fabspeed bypass on my 95C2. It's loud. At idle, it's loud. At higher RPM, it's LOUD. At WOT, it's LOOUUUD.

I love the sound, but it's making me feel bad that I am not doing the environment any good. So I am saving up for the DachX sport cats.

Anyway, anyone can provide me input on the difference in sound between the Dach and Fabspeed?

thanks,
anthony

I don't have the link, but if you search Dach X-pipe on YouTube, there are a few sound clips that people have posted.

The x-pipe would sound different from the x-pipe with sport cat right?

The DACH X pipes would definitely be louder than the sport cat pipes.

The Dach X pipe with cats will be quieter then the Fabspeed with no cats. What mufflers are you running?

Yes! If you want free'r flow, a little more sound and less weight, then the sport cat X-pipes are the way you need to go. I run my sports cats with motorsound muffs (nice and well worn out ) and the car sounds great. When I go to the track I have little "fangs" that we made for just my pipes that come right out of the bumper tip holes bypassing the muffs) and its LOUD and DEEP and sounds amazing (as I'm told by all the folks that come up and comment on the way the car sounds)

Check our site for pics, dyno sheets etc.....

I am running 1.5inch LMPP. I do have to admit that it's a little TOO loud and smells bad.

Since this is a daily driver, what seemed like the extra torque at the low end of the DachX sport cat will also be welcome.

993inNC, what is your turnaround time for the sportcat?

Default Group Buy?

Any momentum for a group buy here? 993inNC - what's the minimum order required for a GB? I'm in for sport cats if we get it going.

I typically need 6 for a GB. I've had quite a bit of interest lately, so I would guess there would be a good chance to put one together. I don't have a price yet, there is supposed to be a cat re-design we've been waiting for so not sure how or if that will affect my cat supply or price.
As for turn around, typically a couple weeks per set. I think we are just about out of supplies and hadn't reordered anything (summer tends to be a slow time for DACH so we run parts down to nothing).
I've said it before but with all the new members its worth saying again

**** This is a hobby business for us, if you are in ANY hurry, we will not be for you! I can't stress enough that we build these by hand on "the side", its first paid, first sent so number six could be a couple months before delivery, but after multiple GB's and many sets sold...........everyone always gets what they pay for ****

TIA

I started a new thread on the GB - as this group buy was buried in another thread that folks might not look at.
