Default AWE tuning ?

Has anyone had experiences (good or bad) with AWE tuning? I'm going through something right now that is kinda f*** up. Trying to have patience but am at wits end. Dont want to talk sh*t, just searching for more reasons to be more patient before I blow a fuse. Thanks

They're local to me. I've had good service from them every time, including resolving (3rd party) product problems. If you have a problem, make sure you talk to Mike or Todd or someone in authority. Sometimes the guys who answer the phone don't have the power to "make it right".

I purchased a BUNCH of stuff from them on my Audi S4, high quality, good customer service, just a little expensive.

Do they really make anything for the 993, or is this for another car?

I had purchased some bilstiens hds through them. Got wrong shock and have been trying to get refunded for quite some time now. Ill probably **** and moan a little more before I take any further action. Just wanted to see if other people were pleased or displeased with their service. Ill probably not order from them in the future. thanks a bunch for your replies.

Red,

Do a search on the 993TT board - lots of promises and little delivery.....

Simon,

Are you sure you are not confusing us with someone else?

We never really got too heavy into the 993 market. Our big Porsche push started with 996TT's.

Just curious as to where that comment came from.

Thanks.

Mike,

As i recall there were at least 2 guys that you were building exhausts for and then after taking a deposit and keeping them waiting for as much as 4 months - you bailed from the project.

Edit: Yes Mike - I do NOT have you confused:

Just providing honest feedback for my Rennlist brothers..... I have no skin in the game - and am happy for you that you have seemed to have picked your game up as evidenced by the previous posts.

Wow, after reading those threads all I can say is that you 993 turbo owners are a serious bunch of whiners.

Mike explained very clearly what was going on, even posting his backlog! And all you can reply is waaah, waaah, I want MY exhaust, screw everyone else. Are any of you in business for yourselves? Reads like a 6speedonline me me me entitlement-fest...

For everyone else, I would recommend those threads to get a good idea about how AWE handles customer service. Draw your own conclusions.

Simon,

I remember both of those posts and those clients. I stated our side of the story, and I feel no need to comment further.

I urge you to do a search on us in the various other forums. I think you will find a company that is opposite of what you have labeled us as.

Being on the sidelines and looking at this thread (never done business with A.W.E.). I would do business with them just based on how this thread was handled. Good job Mike.
