Default Red brake calipers

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a standard colour used with the red coated Porsche brake calipers. Looking to get some touch up paint to go over some paint chips.
Is there a colour code ?

Frogger.
Before someone with less manners than I tells you, you might want to do a search first before you post questions. There are A LOT of thread relating to caliper paints.
Additionally, it is customary to post pics of your car as well.
Welcome!

Thanks for heads up. First post and only a new porsche 993 owner. Im actually in Australia so can be difficult to get this sort of stuff. I did email www.xenonmods.com to see if they whould ship overseas. It seems they supply the paints otherwise I will have to try and find the colour code and have someone here mix the paint for me. Just cant find what the colour code is searching thru the other forums. Any heads up would be great.

Frogger,

Firstly - Welcome - The benefits of joining are worth far more than the $40 it costs to join.....

Secondly - the paint code is hard to come by - i believe it is a standard Brembo colour although i would visit a good body shop and have them mix you up a small tin??

Where are you located?

Best,

Hey Simon,

I think mixing a small tin will be my best option. There are some body shops that just do porsches so probably best to pay them a visit. The stone chips are pretty small but you can notice them.

Im in Sydney, Australia. One of the best cities in the world !!! Only downside is a Porsche 993 C2 will cost you $80 USD. SO not a large number around in Australia

Frogger,

Good idea with the Body Shops - I can reccomend both of the only approved Porsche ones in Sydney. (One i have an association with - hence why I mention both) either Lee Smash or Exclusive Body Werks in Granville.

I thought you were in Sydney - it looks like your avatar was taken at the PCNSW concours last year? You should join the club - Great track events and social drives,

Best,
Simon.

Thanks Simon. I have actually heard of Lee Smash Repairs in Artamon and was thinking of going there.
Photo was taken in a park at Bayview. I live on the Northern Beaches and should look at joining the PCNSW. Autohaus Hamilton also services my car.

Frogger, please get me 10 @ 80 USD and I'll give you 1000 USD each when I sell them over here.
