Default Wheres the Best Deal on Bilsteins?

I am thinking of lowering my car.Where is the best deal on Pss9's or PSs10's?I know I need an extra locking collar for thr rear,is there anything else I need.Do I need RS drop links as well? I am probably going to go with RS +5 MM on the ride height
Thanks

Hi:

You certainly will need the extra locking collars and RS rear droplinks to set your car up correctly at that ride height.

If I may be so bold,............LOL,...might I gently suggest that you source your suspension kit from a Rennlist sponsor?

These are the kind folks who make these Forums even possible and some of them take time from their workday to helps others in need with technical assistance (which is something you might need to get your suspension upgrade set up properly).

I'm going back to work now (and keep my mouth shut),....

I agree, it's not always about the absolute best price...I mean c'mon, we do own sports cars here!

PSS10's are available; I pick mine up on Friday. I agree with Steve Weiner about using a Rennlist sponsor. Viper Bob has good prices, check him out. Gert's great too, but the weak dollar has made his prices less competitive.

Absolutely no disrespect to the valued sponsors on here on the forum; however, there are levels of loyalty; try my BMW mechanic for Bilstein ...call Chris at Bimmerparts.com for a price check.

So what are teh differences b/w the pss9 and the pss10? Are the 10's actually better or is it just fluff and marketing?

I only have 22,000 miles on my car and I have the Euro Springs but my shocks are O-riginal and probably shot. Just curious as I may change them out this spring/summer.

Robert,

Bilstein finally addressed the shortcomings of the PSS-9's although it took them almost 10 years to do it,...

1) Adjusters that actually have detents you can feel and recognizable position settings.

2) Revised valving with more range between full hard & full soft.

Overall, the PSS-10's are much more user-friendly with improved performance.
