So i parked my car downtown for not even 4 minutes ,i made sure to park were no one could parked in front of me and go in and out from the store.
What do i see a freekin dent the size of a quarter on the hood and scratche's all over the hood and bumper.Even had 2 lil holes in the bumper i just wanna kill the guy that did this....

Sorry to hear about what happened to your car. Hard to believe that people have nothing better to do than trash a beautiful car. My sympathy to you.

Will it be covered by insurance, and if so, would it be an opportune time for a front end respray?

Just had the front respray a year ago, now i have to get it redone.Its gonna be paid from my pocket i don't want insurance to go up.

I know, it really sucks.
They do it on purpose. I'm sure of it.
In all the years I have owned 911's, I have never driven through the main street of my town.
It's just not worth it.

Now that sucks...where in downtown did it happen. I just assumed that in Mtl the worse thing that could happen is falling into a pothole/crater. Admitedly, I moved in '88 and haven't spent much time there recentely.

The same thing happened to me last year. My advise is to get it fixed immediately. Everyday you look at the damage you will be reminded of how much you want to kill the SOB. Insurance should not go up for a Comp claim. Thats what you pay them for.

Hey Will, that really sucks, your car looked flawless! As cdmdriver suggested, best to get it fixed ASAP so you don't have look at anymore. "Out-of-site, out-of-mind" would certainly apply in this case.

This is something I worry about in parking my 993 in urban areas. There are a few folks around who don't like fancy cars, and who like to make themselves feel better by visiting a little grief on their owners.

We generally take one of our other low key cars if we're going to be parking downtown or in a mall.
