Agreed. From my time in Vancouver, even broken windows etc didn't increase premiums. I don't believe vandalism causes premiums to rise. What could you have done about it? It's faultless.

The thing is i don't want the insurance to even have a claim in there files..
Also for Montreal people i was park in front of alexi nihon on st cath and atwater i made sure i was the first car so no one could park in front.Normaly i never park my car in the streets always paying parking or private parking wich i know the valet guys.Yesterday was such a sad day this morning i had a smile on my face when my body shop guy said he's gonna make it look like new again.=)
And for anyone with such nice cars and cares so much about them never ever leave sight of your car even if you have to pay a ticket.

Some owners like to use their insurance only for major claims. Revolution993, being in Quebec, where they presumably have government insurance, probably doesn't trust his carrier as far as he can throw it.
But, certainly, there are types of claims that don't affect premiums.

Here in Quebec what happened to me is a Hit and run if i claimed it to the insurance my premium next year won't go lower.
I find the damage not to be that expensive to fix myself but then again i just want to find the guy that did this i don't even care paying someone to find this guy so i could deal this problem with him or her.
