I promised somebody else I would post some pics after I finish redoing the seats. I ended up doing the steering wheel as well. Got the product from Colorplus, including their cleaner and Soffener. Used a soft brush to put the dye on. Results are pretty dramatic.

The first pic is before..... I forgot to take a good shot of the seats before my project, so I had to pull another interior pic that still partially captured the seats.

The 2nd and 3rd pics are the after shots.

Looks great. Do you pull the cushions up to get into those nook and crannies or do you just spray the top as well as you can?

I am not sure if I understood the questions but when I did the dye, I pulled the cushions to the side and put the dye into the space down to the seam. It might stick after it dried but you can easily pull the sticking parts apart and you do not see anything.

Yes, that is what I mean. I saw a car recently where this was not done and if you pull up the cushions, you can see a color difference indicated by the dye. A good way to tell if you are hearing the whole truth from the seller BTW

I am interested in a 993TT that has a marble gray interior. I want a red interior and want to know if one can make such a color change that will be durable by using dye on the leather and door panels. I am assuming that the rugs will need to be replaced and not dyed. Thanks
