Thinking about getting a set of these knock offs on eBay. With rubber shipped there are only $1340. Can someone tell me if they will fit a 1995? Offsets are below.
Specs:
* Brand New Made to Factory Specs
* Structure: 1 Piece Cast Aluminum Alloy
* Exceeds TUV, DOT, JWL, & VIA standards
* Size: Front 18x8" / Rear 18x10"
* Offset: Front 50mm / Rear 65mm
* Bolt Pattern: 5x130mm
* Finish: Painted Factory Silver w/ Clearcoat
* Center caps and lugs not included. Factory Porsche caps and lugs work.

I bought those for my 1996 C4, had them powdercoated black. When i backed of the lift after hvaing mounted the wheels heard a strange sound from the rear, found out that the rear wheels came in contact with the rear calipers
Scraped the paint of both the wheels and calipers, had to have both redone, shold have gone for OEM's !
So on my car i had to use these wheels along with 3mm spacers
Thought i would share this.
Best regards

I think if I bought knock-offs, I'd keep my real Porsche wheels on hand, as I'm pretty sure that the knock offs don't add to the value of the car. So which solution is really the most expensive, then?

$1340 doesn't seem like a good deal... I got my OEMs from a Rennlister (no tires) for less shipped from CA to VA. They are off of a Boxter, but all I had to do was roll my back fenders because my car is so low.

Just my opinion but based on your avatar your car looks perfect. There is a classic aggression look with stock 993 wheels and slightly lowering suspension ala M030 ROW.

Seems like the spokes are just a little bit to "pointy" on the inside to clear the calipers.
What wonders me is why none has complained about this to the seller before !? I specified which car the wheels were going to be mounted on.
Unfortunately this sale did not go through E-bay, so i can not leave a note in the feedback
And as i am to far away from the seller for him to take me seriously if i should complain i have not done that
But, at least you, my fellow Rennlisters have been warned, and i have learned a lesson.
Edit:
What i should do is contact the seller and ask for the TUV documentation and see if they are able to provide them.

I was thinking about getting a set of non-OEM 5 spoke to experiment with painting different colors, but would rather have "inexpensive" vs "cheap".

Not 100% sure here, but i read somewhere on RL that the OEM's where made by MIM in Italy.
So the "Italian" ones and the OEM's should be the same . . .
MIM might have had a exclusive contract with Porsche for some years and that they now are able to sell to the open marked ???
Mine came in boxes labeled "Keystone", no sign of manufacturers logo on the wheels, so they were probably made in china.
