My friend has a 08 mini -s and he had the computer tuned..OMG what a blast to drive..loads of power for a small car. He has the automatic trans....lets see how long that lasts. I like the fact that it's a turbo now...

We ordered a 08 Cooper S in February, & took delivery of it in early April. We got just about every option, it even has BMW's I-drive in it. The sport suspension & LSD are a must! We added a bunch of JCW parts.

My new MINI is en route right now, scheduled to arrive at the west coast port on June 26th. It's sunroof delete and silver, just like my 993. I ordered very few options on this car. It actually cost less than used MINI's are going for in my area. This will be my daily driver.

My wife has an '04 Cooper S as her daily driver. She really likes the car- indi blue with white roof and hood stripes. I added driving lights to augment the brights- really helps in the dark. I have a set of studded tires on 16" non-S rims for it- goes great in the snow!

My wife's '03. Fully track modded, corner balanced coilovers, camber plates, strut bar, sway bar, brembos, 205 hp., harnesses, rear seat delete, 18" SSR comps, etc. It's also her daily driver. She is nuts about it, and I have to admit, it is a blast to drive either on or off the track.

I drove my wifes Mini from the dealer to the tire shop and had Michelins (Not runflats) installed.

Rick, one of my best friends is a service advisor at New Country Mini in Hartford, CT. He is VERY active in the New England and NJ/NY/PA Mini scene. I can put you in touch with him if you want. Also here is a very useful site that he is on, as is everyone else in New England:

www.nemini.org

Last year at the Lime Rock Rolex Vintage Festival, my friend organized the Mini corral, and there were about 30-40 Minis there! Plus, he is very active in organizing cruises and get togethers from 5 to over 50 Minis. PM me.

As for new cars, I think I'm about to get my first Porsche...

Im bringin MINI back...

I have a 2009 JCW in Laser Blue. I had an 04 S in Electric Blue and got rid of it by mistake and a year later had to replace it because I missed it so much..
