Default New guy gets a Targa
Hi gang.

Thanks for your advice as I searched for a 993 Targa. I finally found one within my budget, needing only touches that I can manage myself. Enjoyed a brilliant 300-mile trip up into the California Gold Country last Saturday. The car is more than I'd hoped. Here are a couple pictures.

Picking your car and driving it back home is a right of passage. I still have fond memories when I drove mine home 600 miles.

I still have memories of the conversation I had with a State Trooper on my way home after picking up my Targa...........

Welcome to the Targa club. My favorite drive is Route 1 north of SF with the top open on a cold, clear day. Nothing like it.
