Silver or CF Carrera Emblem on Arctic Silver Car?
** Looking for Pictures, if anyone has any **
Yup, I broke the top of the C on my Carrera emblem on the rear deck. I've read the dental floss, 3M adhesive remover, wax and polish routine to get the emblem and adhesive off. Now I'm thinking of what to replace the black emblem with. Of course I can stay with black. I'm thinking though of silver or maybe even the carbon fiber look that I've seen on ebay (afraid it might look too cheesy though).
Does anyone have a pic of either of these two color emblems on their arctic silver 993s?
Thanks in advance.
Boy, I haven't posted in a long time!

Have you considered perhaps having it painted?
Porsche now offers the rear emblems painted to match the exterior body color (low cost Exclusive option....although low cost and Exclusive programme don't normally go together).
Another option I've seen that can look quite nice is a colored emblem, usually to match an interior deviated stitching, deviated carpet color, etc.
Eric at www.bumperplugs.com (Rennlist sponsor and good guy) offers this service.

Thanks for the responses so far. I am not really looking for a poll here but rather pictures is anyone has any of either of the two options. I also figured the CF option would catch some heat. I'm 99% sure I'm either headed towards OEM black or silver anyway.
If any of you have either the silver or CF emblem on your arctic silver cars, a picture would be really helpful to me.
Thanks.

I switched from the the black to the silver on my car and it is a much better look. But I don't have an Arctic silver car. The silver emblem just looks better IMHO. Hell they are only $25. Buy both and mach them up to the paint.
