Which one is smoothest, quietest, performs?
Michelin Pilots
or
Bridgestone s02
.....not interesteds in other brands.
(Personally I believe Michelin is best across the board-but currently have Bridgestones.)

Pilot Sport Ribbed but they are not cheap!
I just put a set of Sumi HTZ-III's on the 95, & they are MUCH smoother & quieter then the S02's that were one there. They don't have the steering feel, but grip is on par, they will last a LOT longer! There also 1/2 the price of S02's.

Sumis- smoother and quieter than Bridgies- wow. news.
how about compared to Pilots? any idea?
I had Yokos... look cool...way to noisey, not real smooth either.

I have PS2's and am very happy with them so far. I would have gone with the Neova's but they are extremely expensive and are not orders of magnitudes beyond the PS2's. If Bridgestones offers the RE01's in a greater variety of sizes I'll probably try them, since from all indications they seem to be about the best value for the performance.

Pilots are the best tire I've had on my yet. Didn't like S02's. They were supposed to give good wet traction as they wore down. Spun on a wet road and hurt my bum.

Yea, for $400 a SET, I didn't expect much. So far they have blown me away. But after I put a few thousand on them, & do a couple of Auto-x it might be a different matter. This is my daily driver, so she does 90mi round trip, quite & smooth is very nice! The C4S will get Pilot Sport Ribbed, at a cost of 3 set of Sumi's!

I had SO2's on the SC and they were very grippy even in the driving rains here in the PNW.
During a session on the skid pad with standing water, I couldn't get the rear end to break loose without doing some pretty radical things to the steering wheel.
I recently had PS2's installed on the C2S. While they're not the most quiet but definitely not the loudest tire. They seem to be pretty stable and grippy in standing water situations. The SC has SSI's so aside from the music from the exhaust any tire rumble gets pretty muted. I haven't driven the SO3's yet.

I have had SO3's (3 sets of rears, 2 sets on fronts) (Tire Rack clearance stash) since owning my C4 and they dont get very good mileage. The car came with SO3s so I stuck with them--plus I like the look. Had a set of Kumho MX's and I personally believe they handled better than Bridgestone and had way better tread life. I will go back to doing my homework after I go through the last set of SO3s.
I had Bridgestone Revo's on my SUV and they lasted 35k on a 50k tire. Loved the tire, disappointed on the tread life. Rotated every 3k, perfect alignment, no off road.
My luck with Bridgestone for tire life hasnt been that great on all my vehicles and I swithed to Michelin on my SUV last month (LTX M/S) and love them. Granted its not the Porsche but love the tire and improvment in handling from the Bridgestone Revos.
