It looks a lot like chestnut. I love the aluminum ebrake handle and shifter accents with the red.

I had a 944 once that was white with Can Can Red (bright) interior. The piping around the edge of the seats was the same color. Over time, the piping started fading and turned orange. Otherwise, love the red interior.

Red looks great when done well, I like the tow tone.

However, red Leather, does show wear faster & can look haggard if not taken care of.

I love my red interior. Wear has been no better/worse than other colors I've owned. I do take care to make sure my hands are clean after working in the garage on a project before a drive. The steering wheel and shifter will stain easily if you have grease or oil residue on your hands. It won't hide stupid mistakes like black does, but I'd never go back to the coal mine.

Red interiors are awesome...and not for the faint-of-heart. This is a pic of Urban's car:

the black carpet helps the red dash and doors IMHO, the car I was looking at has red carpet and to me its almost too much.

Urban's car has red carpets with black mats. Mats are $150.

I agree with black carpet, at least the floor mats a minimum are a must but still too red. I admit both are very nicely done, just not my taste.

Depending on which color red can make a major difference. Red is always a hard sell because you have to see it in person, many people are skeptical because it is love/hate and hard to get a feel for without actually surrounding yourself in the car. We all know skepticism and selling cars don't mix well.

I guess it is not red that I don't like but fully colored interiors in general My C2 was mostly all tan with black dash and knee pad but the rest was too tan so I switched out the wheel, console, door pulls, shifter and bin covers to black with aluminum floor covering and pedals a black roll bar and seats, now I can live with it.

What if someone wanted a Can Can interior today? I doubt there are any for sale anywhere used so screwed or build from scratch?

I was going to post a pic of your interior from our New Year's Eve run. You saved me the trouble.

I absolutely love your color combo!

I always secretly lusted for a silver 930 with the darker red interior. Very classy combo - but I think it would have to be a turbo.
