Trip to Ruf-Dallas on 3/23 is POSTPONED

Default Trip to Ruf-Dallas on 3/23 is POSTPONED
Due to a sudden illness, the three amigos (Terry, Pong, and myself) have decided to postpone the road trip to Ruf-Dallas until all are healthy again. We are tentatively planning to do this road trip ton arrive at Ruf-Dallas on May 3rd. Wayne has graciously rescheduled the Hooter girls. We will start a new thread as the plans firm up. I hope that all the Dallas folks that were planning to meet us on 3/23 can replan that for 5/3.

Hope whoever it is will get well soon. Maybe I can make May 3rd.

Hi Mike,

I have diverticulitis

In simple terms, it is an inflammation of the colon (akin to appendicitis) but a different part of the colon. It is more common in folks over 50. I guess that's my demographics.

I'm under good care, and hope to be good as new soon. Thanks for caring.

Folks,

Thanks for the kind wishes. I'm doing much better today than Monday.

So here's the revised plan:
Leave Tuesday 4-29-08, dinner/Overnight in La Quinta.
Arrive Austin Thursday 5-1-08.
Hill Country Drive Friday 5-2-08. Overnight in Mckinney.
Ruf Dallas Saturday meet 5-3-08.

Hope this works for the locals as well.
