Default Alignment settings for track/street use?

Installing PSS10's tomorrow, TRG sways, RS drop links.
I'm 50% track and 50% street; maybe 10 DE's this year.
I have Michelin PS Cups which I would appreciate if they would last through next season also!

Anyone know alignment specs for a 50/50 track and street mix - thanks in advance.

Go RS specs, & maybe 0 toe in the front & as much caster as you can run.

What run group are you in? How many track days do you have under your belt? How hard you drive will determine the settings you need. Even then, the settings will be a compromise for either street or track, no question.

I've done about 10 track days starting last year. This year I'm running the 993 and also I'm going to try 2 stroke Karting. I push hard enough to spin at about half the trackdays. Which either means I'm pushing hard or I'm not a very good driver, probably the latter. I'm hoping to take the advanced driver class and some further instruction this year.
What are the factory specs and what are the track specs? Thanks.

I'm at about 50% track and am maxed out front and rear -1.9 ish. I'd like to try more in front but that would involve mono *****.

I think RS settings should be a good place for you to start. Dial in more negative camber settings if you're wearing out the outside edges of your tires. If you do this, street driving will wear out the inside edges.

Do you have a turbo? If so, I agree with Stealth, 0 toe, as much caster as possible AND go -2F and -1.75R camber. More camber in the front makes AWD cars fairly neutral. Also, watch your tire pressures.

I'm at RS height +5mm, and RS alignment specs. After about 10 DE days and maybe 8000 street km my wear is fairly even across the treads, but the rear outside edges are starting to take a beating. I may need a bit more neg in the rear, but agree RS spec is a good place to start for a dual use car.

Hi Jeremy,

FWIW, I went with a bit more negative camber than RS setting: around -1.2 degrees front/ -1.7 degrees rear. This worked very well with my PSS9s and 22mm/21mm sways both TimeTrialing and daily driving. It has now been a few years and several tire changes since I have tracked my 993, but still a daily commuter. Tire wear is still excellent and the car always feels secure as well as confidently planted on the street (not at all darty). If you spend as much as 50% on the track, I'd go with more neg camber than RS ...IMHO anyway

That's about right, most tracked cars will want close to 0 toe, and -1.5 > -3.0 camber in front(more -camber for slicks less for street tires) and in back a little less camber and a little toe in but tires and usage and other variables make each one a little different.
