The other view point to consider is that the 993 will be/is a classic where the 996 will not be considered as such (in my opinion of course). I would rather mile up the latter. That said, I'm not going to hesitate to put miles on my new 993 although it will not be a DD. Perhaps I don't have a point here.

One stupid statement deserves another.......
LOL...no need to take it personally or be so sensitive Ray. For someone that owns a 996 AND a Boxster, you should have grown thicker skin by now.

True. I should have taken into consideration your experience driving luxury sedans. After all they weigh about the same as a 993 cab, right....

Dude...slow day at the 996 forums? Or are you tired of talking about leaky RMS and decided to stop by here and harass people?

It sounds like a struck a raw nerve in you. Sorry, didn't mean to. But if you feel so insecure, please don't come here and start controversy.

Cabrio, 996 guys have to lurk here. They need to read up on their next car. That is what I did when I had my 996's.

Well...aren't Porsche's derived from VW's? Like father like son and proud of it. Too bad 996's don't have any similarity to it.

Ahem.. actually I rode alongside a 996 aero convert with top down (mine u it was 20 but then again he had FL plates), and must admit that's a nice looking car - looked like a 2002+.

Advantage: cabrio993

Ray, cabrio is just being a clown. There's no harm. You won't change our minds and we won't change your mind. It's all in good fun. Like what you like and don't give a damn about what we think.
